I don't want to get also involved in the repair procedure considering I don't have much luck with it. You are wanting to effort Tim'south anwer in mail service #two. Information technology sounds to me that y'all are not booting off of the CD.

When you first start your calculator earlier the NTLDR missing bulletin are you getting a prompt saying "Printing whatsoever key to boot from CD"? If and so be sure to hit spacebar of other cardinal to brainstorm booting from CD.

If not you volition accept to change your Boot Lodge in BIOS. Usually, you would first your computer and immediately and repeatedly hit F2 (if F2 doesn't work endeavor DELete key or F10) key to open BIOS(sometimes chosen startup) screen. In BIOS you will accept to look for Boot Club or similar wording. Then prepare your boot gild to CDROM first and and then Hard Drive. [It is probably now set up at HD starting time then CDROM] Instructions for navigating the screens should be available at the bottom of the screen.

Then restart and meet if you get the Printing any key to boot from CD prompt.

  14. I do have the reinstallation CD. I just received it in the post.
  15. I received the xp pro sp3 reinstallation CD. I tried what you said and also followed the You Tube video. The message know on a black screen is NTLDR is compressed Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart. When I restart, the aforementioned message comes up. Whatsoever ideas to become support and running. I can't utilise my printer now. This is frustrating.
